Zombie Santa

Shades of the Walking Dead! I felt like making a Zombie Santa ornament yesterday.

I used Apoxie clay to sculpt the zombie and finished it in acrylic paint. It has a cord in the head for hanging it from a Christmas tree.

I also started a couple armatures for sculptures I'm planning.

Here is the finished armature wrapped in floral wire. I find the floral wire helps give the clay a toe hold as I'm applying it. I hope to have more done on this by weeks end!

  6. I would love to see your creation, in a tree inhabited with fairy like & overly cute creatures like Bambi, just to see them wet their pants as he dangles right beside them :) That would be so funny haha

You make cool stuff, really neat

  7. Thank you Debora! The zombie ornament was shipped out to its new home in Texas this morning. Maybe the new owner will hang it next to a Bambi ornament! ;)

  8. Hi, Brian! I am the zombie ornament owner that was lucky enough to snag it off Etsy! No bambi ornaments on our tree, but it sure does look awesome next to a beautiful Christmas angel! ;-)

    Thank you!!
